Chucky Campaign

Chucky is the first television version of the beloved horror icon ‘Chucky’. The campaign focused on a combination of his horror roots and his pop culture status. The visuals were bright, hinging on the yellow ‘God Guys’ box color. One variation of the key art highlighted the cast with a hint of Chucky and his classic knife. The other nodded to a high school, the new location of his terror rampage. The school version juxtaposed the ‘good guy’ friendly side of Chucky with typography written in blood across the lockers. In both cases, we wanted to acknowledge the impending danger of this killer doll without hitting it head on. The campaign included OOH billboards, a digital media buy, digital platform assets, Comic Con placement, social units and on-air promos.
